Understanding the Seven Aspects
A Simple Path outlines seven interconnected aspects of Christian discipleship and service. Each aspect builds upon the others, creating a holistic approach to following Christ and serving others with authenticity, humility, and purpose. Together, they form a spiritual journey of transformation and meaningful engagement with God and your community.
Praise and Worship
You speak, sing, declare, and proclaim who God is and His power. Through worship, you acknowledge God's greatness and express your devotion to Him with your whole heart.
Discipleship
Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, and you are learning to follow Him and disciple others. You grow in your faith while helping others discover their own spiritual journey.
Humility
You are surrendered, submitting to the will of God. Humility allows you to release control and trust in God's guidance and wisdom for your life.
Acknowledgement
Be aware of the situation that God is presenting for your service. Stay alert and attentive to opportunities where God is calling you to act and make a difference.
Acceptance
God is calling, and you have accepted His call. You care for people and respond to God's invitation to be part of His redemptive work in the world.
Obedience
You are voluntarily following Christ in a ministry of Reconciliation. Your actions demonstrate your commitment to living out Christ's teachings and values.
Identification
Recognizing the inner needs of others and looking for ways to serve them. You develop compassion and empathy, seeing Christ in those you encounter and serve.
